Who are We?
We are a successful and growing Dragon Boat racing team based near Pershore, Worcestershire. Established in 2007, our home is at Arden Sailing Club in Defford. This is a great facility in a beautiful setting shared with the Sailing Club and Wittering SUP School.
A member club of the British Dragon Boat Association (BDA), we race in the National League regattas each Summer and travel abroad to test our skills; and have a good time!
Dragon boat racing is an inclusive sport and we have an Open Team, comprised of both men and women paddlers - aged 12 years and above - a senior team (40+) and both men's and women's crews (all ages).
We have members who are social paddlers, who come along to enjoy fun, exercise and team work on this amazing stretch of the River Avon. Plus, we have paddlers who are racing members, who love the competitive part of the sport and train hard year-round to be the best paddlers they can be.
We are proud to have members who are current and previous members of the Team GB squads, who compete at European and World Championships.
As well as the British National League Races, we compete overseas as a club - recently in Barcelona and Cyprus. This year we are heading to Portugal for a Euro Cup regatta.
Membership fees are £18 per month, with reduced rates for juniors, and family memberships.
